    Machine Shop Program

    This program is designed to build foundational technical competency required for entry-level machinists and technicians, with a strong emphasis on application, accuracy, and real-world shop relevance.

    Level 1 places a strong emphasis on application, accuracy, and real-world shop relevance.

    Course Structure:

    • Shop Math 
    • Metrology
    • Print Reading
    • GD&T Fundamentals 

    Level 2 is designed to develop operators who can read prints and execute operations, set up machines correctly, hold tolerances and more.

    • Shop Safety and Foundations 
    • Bandsaw Operations 
    • Drill Press Operations 
    • Engine Lathe Operations
    • Vertical Milling Machine
    • Surface Grinding
