    Accounting Essentials

     

    Gain the practical accounting and bookkeeping skills employers are looking for! This hands-on training series covers accounting fundamentals, payroll, financial statements, and QuickBooks Online. Students will build real-world skills used in office and bookkeeping roles while preparing for the QuickBooks Online Certified User (QBOCU) certification exam.

    Schedule:  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    Cost:  $1,519 (includes text books, materials, and certification exam cost)
    Format:  Traditional
    Location:  ThompsonM-TEC Main Campus

    Pre-requisites: Keyboarding, Introduction to Computers (comp outs available)

    Program Courses Include:

    • Accounting I: $479 (7/7/2026 - 8/13/2026, T/TH 9am-12pm)
    • Accounting II: $376 (8/19/2026 - 11/4/2026, W 12.30pm-3.30pm)
    • QuickBooks Online: $664 (8/19/2026 - 11/4/2026, W 9am-12pm)


    To secure your spot in the program, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be credited toward the tuition for your first class. You don’t need to pay for the entire program upfront; you can pay per class. However, each class must be paid in full at least two weeks before its start date.
