The K-8 council is composed of representatives from each local district. The focus of the K-8 council is to build capacity and deepen knowledge of special education practices, while developing resources to support special education staff across the RESD.
This DPPD program for the 2026 27 school year covers the trainings offered to special education case managers at the k 8 level. We will discuss topics specific to their service band. In addition, we will focus on
completing a project to benefit the whole RESD.
