Rater Reliability: Observation & Feedback Calibration

Building and district leaders will hone their observation and feedback skills related to their specific teacher/administrator observation and evaluation framework. Participants will collect evidence during an observation, code evidence to one's instructional framework/rubric, provide formative feedback, and engage in and observation conversation. Throughout the session, participants will calibrate their work to the work of the facilitator and to one another and will continually identify areas of growth with both process and personal practices. No cost - SCECHs available 8am-3pm

Building principals, assistant principals/Dean of Students, central office administrators, teacher leaders, teachers, ISD/RESA consultants

Learner Outcomes
|
|
Participants will engage in rater-reliability through refinement of practices in the areas collecting evidence and coding/sorting, exploring best practices related to written feedback and the feedback conversation, and reflection and goal setting in relation to personal practices
