The Superintendents from Clare, Gladwin, and Midland Counties have designed a year-long course for district level educational leaders who have expressed an interest in leadership positions and/or who have demonstrated skills and talents required of effective leaders. Each session will run from 5:00-7:00 pm and will take place in the district of the Superintendent who is facilitating the session. Topics for each session can be found below.
Each conversion-focused session will involve actual scenarios that Superintendents have encountered in order to illustrate particular decision-making strategies, pitfalls to avoid, and lessons learned over time. Information on topics all school leaders should know about will also be shared. This series is designed for existing administrators, as well as teachers and others considering a leadership role. Attendance at all nine sessions is highly encouraged.
