Speech Recognition and Word Prediction
Session: 7567 This workshop will review speech recognition and word prediction options and processes for skill development. The first section [1:00~2:30] will focus on speech production tools and will focus on Google voice typing. A process for skill development for effective use of speech recognition as a writing tool will be provided. Following the speech recognition section, word prediction options will be reviewed with a focus on Read&Write for Google and CoWriter Universal. Skill development for effective use of word prediction will be provided. If the session ends before 3:30, independent practice time will be provided or other writing topics will be discussed based on participant interests. AEA OT/PT staff who are signed up for the Access Expertise series need not register for this training. Please update your attendance on the Access Expertise/Resource Group attendance logs.
