Sign Language Interpreter Academy 2018

AEA Sign Language Interpreter staff only. It will be open to the general public if space allows.

The Mississippi Bend Area Agency Sign Language Interpreter Academy will consist of topics that will enhance your work as an educational interpreter.
Topics to be included in this 2-day workshop will be:
• Understanding Behavior and Behavior Strategies to use in the classroom
• Language Development for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• D/HH and Vision Loss
• Taking care of yourself, specifically your hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders
• Technology in the classroom.
