AAC - Creating an Environment for Language and Communication Learning


The course will provide a review and practice of environmental considerations for effective language and communication learning for students who require augmentative and alternative communication. General AAC information will be provided in the areas of student skills, assessment and AAC devices. The predominant focus of this class will be on strategies and skills used by communication partners to provide an environment that can maximize language and communication learning.
