This class is perfect for any teacher, administrator, or support staff serving in some sort of leadership role. Topics discussed include: qualities of a good leader, types of leadership roles, interviewing and mentoring, communication, promoting a collaborative environment, and using assessments and data.

This is an online course. The instructor will closely monitor student participation through log on time, the posting of assignments, and responding to teacher and student postings. Students can access the on-line class 24 hours per day from their computer. This will be a self paced class.

This course will meet the 3-credit requirement to renew a paraeducator certificate. An official transcript will be mailed to participants upon request. This transcript needs to be sent with the certificate renewal application.
