Collaborative Teaching Initiative (CTI)
The Collaborative Teaching Initiative will go deeper into effective planning, instruction, and assessment. Co-teaching pairs will learn to move from coexisting to co-teaching. Buildings will set goals and expectations for co-teaching. Co-teaching pairs and building administrators will learn how to measure if co-teaching is making a positive difference, and how to use data to drive decision making and make improvements.
CTI professional development is for co-teaching pairs in grades 4 through 12. Attendees must be in a co-teaching arrangement and attend with the teacher they are co-teaching. A building administrator or designee that oversees co-teaching in the building should plan on attending with their team. On-site support to administrators will be provided to assist in making co-teaching in their building a success.
