This workshop will focus on reducing prompt dependency for students. Identification of target behaviors and natural indicators for target behaviors and the reduction of unnatural indicators (prompts) provides the basis for improving student independence. Participants will identify behaviors that contribute to student prompt dependency, identify skills that can be targeted for independence and identify the sequences of events that naturally occurs around the targeted behavior. Staff is encouraged to attend as teams.
