Enhancing Problem-Solving and Decision-Making in Tiers 1, 2 and 3 and the SLD Eligibility Process
Cross-disciplinary teams who are vested in MTSS Implementation often struggle with making complex decisions based upon the data collected within Tiers 1, 2 and/or 3, as it relates to determining Responsiveness to Intervention (RTI) and whether to proceed with the SLD eligibility process. This session will review regulations, research and best practices in SLD identification, in addition to frequently asked questions regardless of the approach a given school uses (RTI or Ability-Achievement Discrepancy).
Target Audience
Administrators (General and Special Education), MTSS School Teams, Tier 3 Problem-Solving Teams,Tiered Providers, Special Educators, Reading Specialists, School Psychologists,Speech/Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists
