This session will teach the skills required for safe use of Safe Crisis Management at the preschool level. Classroom content includes discussion of core concepts of the curriculum, de-escalation strategies and documentation requirements. Physical skills to intervene with explosive children are re-taught.
Participants will answer core content questions related to Safe Crisis Management on a written exam at an 80% accuracy and perform the Emergency Safety Physical Intervention skills at above an 80% proficiency level.
