    How Students’ Learn Math

    Join us for a hands-on, research-informed 4-part professional learning series for administrators and teacher leadership teams ready to bring their math vision to life. Administrators can attend for free if they bring a minimum of 2 teachers.

    Endorsed by Building Thinking Classrooms author Peter Liljedahl, this series focuses on fostering student thinking through PreK-5 vertically aligned learning trajectories across four key math domains, grounded in research on how students learn mathematics.

    November 18th, 2026 - Algebraic Thinking
    February 3rd, 2027 - Geometry
    March 3rd, 2027 - Measurement, Data and Problem Solving

    K-6 teachers
    Learner Outcomes
    • Deepen understanding of how math concepts develop across grade levels
    • Explore high-impact strategies that promote reasoning and discourse
    • Apply inclusive practices like Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA)
      and UDL to support all learners
    • Walk away equipped to lead classrooms where students are actively engaged
      in meaningful mathematical thinking.
