Playful Math: Helping Toddlers Discover Numbers in Everyday Life
|
|
This training helps teachers support toddlers’ growing math skills through playful, everyday experiences. Participants will learn strategies to use counting language in routines, model one-to-one correspondence, and help children begin to recognize quantities and compare groups using terms like “more,” “less,” and “same.” Through hands-on activities and discussion, teachers will gain practical ideas to integrate early math learning into daily play, routines, and interactions.
