Gifted Educator Network Professional Development

The format for the Gifted Network meeting consists of updates, possible special guest presentations, and announcements from the PA Department of Education. We then have open-space discussions about topics that are of interest to the group. If we have a large enough attendance, we can break into subject area spaces. - Write compliant GIEPs with a focus on goal writing
- Support their students through STEM initiatives
- Differentiate between enrichment and acceleration
- Apply differentiation strategies to support general education curriculum
- Identify under-identified groups of students to support equitable education.
