Social Work Job-Alike: DSM-5

The regional social work meeting will focus on understanding the DSM-5 and its application within school and student support settings. Participants will explore how diagnostic criteria can inform student supports, improve communication across multidisciplinary teams, and strengthen connections between school-based services and community mental health providers. This meeting aims to increase participant understanding of common mental health diagnoses while supporting collaborative, student-centered approaches to intervention and support planning.

This month’s session includes a presentation on the DSM-5 by Dr. Brian Linaburg.

 Format:

  • Interactive workshop with scenarios, reflection, and resource sharing
