Social Work Job-Alike: Neuroscience of Trauma

Description:

The regional social work meeting will focus on understanding trauma and enhancing collaboration to support students and families effectively. Participants will explore the impact of trauma on behavior and learning, share best practices, and discuss strategies for building strong, interdisciplinary partnerships. This meeting aims to strengthen networks and improve outcomes through collaborative problem-solving and resource sharing.

This month’s session includes a presentation on the Neuroscience of Trauma by Genelle Sweetser.

Format:

Interactive workshop with scenarios, reflection, and resource sharing
