    Student Support Strategies - Data Analysis using your SIS

    The regional Student Support Services Job Alike meeting will focus on using Student Information Systems (SIS) and data analysis practices to support decision-making within schools. Participants will explore strategies for running and interpreting reports, identifying meaningful patterns within student data, and using data to inform academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional supports. This meeting aims to strengthen participant confidence in using data systems to support problem-solving, collaboration, and proactive student support planning.

    This month’s session includes a presentation on running reports and data analysis using your SIS by Nadeen Swab and Dr. Brian Linaburg.

     Format:

    • Interactive workshop with scenarios, reflection, and resource sharing

    Learner Outcomes
    • Identify strategies for accessing and running meaningful reports within a Student Information System (SIS).
    • Interpret student data trends related to academics, behavior, attendance, and social-emotional indicators.
    • Explain how data analysis can support problem-solving and intervention planning within an Integrated MTSS framework.
    • Strengthen collaborative practices for using data to inform student support decisions and monitor outcomes.
