Virtual Lunch and Learn-Well Rounded Course Access

Through the Federal Expanding Access to Well-Rounded Course grant, the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) and Indiana University will partner with schools to create a network of schools approach in developing a course-access program. In phases over four years, teachers will create and deliver 90 virtual courses (K-12) aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and taught by certified Indiana teachers, highly trained in National Standards for Quality Online Leaching (NSQOL).

Schools’ benefit by collaborating within a network in identifying high demand courses to be developed and delivered by Indiana teachers to students anywhere in the state. Additional benefits include financial incentives for participating and supporting teachers through the development and delivery of these virtual courses and the expansion of course offerings of difficult to offer courses to students.

We are looking for 20 schools to join the established collaborative network who will help identify courses, provide teachers for course development, and support the delivery of courses to students through a virtual modality for school years 2023-24 and beyond.

Join Mark Conrad, WRCA Project Management Specialist, as he provides an overview of the program and answers questions.

A zoom link will be sent to you closer to the meeting date.
