Acadience Reading
(formerly
DIBELS Next) measures are quick and efficient measures that indicate
if a student is on track for reading success. Similarly, Acadience Math
measures indicate if a student is on track for mathematical success. Acadience Reading is used in
Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Acadience Math measures are
individually administered in Kindergarten and First Grade; training for
paper-pencil measures that are group administered at older grades is provided
separately.
With both
universal screening and progress monitoring components, Acadience Reading
and Math measures are critical tools for educators as they:
- Administer and score each measure
- Identify students who need intervention
support
- Support the MTSS model
