    BOOK STUDY: Intentional From the Start: Guiding Emergent Readers in Small Groups
    This book study of Intentional from the Start: Guiding Emergent Readers in Small Groups invites educators to take a closer look at the powerful, often overlooked work of emergent readers. Participants will explore how to make small group instruction more intentional - focusing on early reading behaviors, thoughtful text selection, and responsive teaching. Through conversation and classroom connections, educators will leave with practical ideas to strengthen small group instruction and better support their emergent readers.  (1st session will be in person, sessions 2-4 will be virtual)
    Target Audience
    Y5-1st grade Teachers
    Learner Outcomes
    Teachers will effectively implement high-impact literacy practices that increase student engagement and strengthen reading outcomes for emergent readers.
