This training provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of assistive technology (AT) in Educational settings. It begins by exploring the crucial process of AT consideration, emphasizing how to identify student needs and potential AT solutions. A significant portion of the training focuses on the SETT Framework (Student, Environment, Tasks, Tools). Finally, the training delves into the implementation of AT, covering strategies for integrating AT into daily routines, ongoing support, progress monitoring, and data collection to maximize the student's success and independence. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to play with various types of Assistive Technology and dig into specific case studies.
