Are you looking to learn more about the possibilities and impacts of AI on education? Join a Community of Practice cohort! Cohorts will run from August to December, and encourage participants to: engage with networking opportunities with peers, exploring practical strategies for AI-driven practices, participate in resource sharing to deepen understanding of effective Gen AI integration in practice and the classroom. This cohort will focus on Reimagining Assessment for teachers, and will include integration of ethical and responsible use of AI.
What opportunities does AI provide to transform assessments into tools for deeper learning and reflection? Together, we’ll use AI to audit assessments for tight alignment with learning goals, design differentiated tasks that promote personalization and equity, build low-stakes formative checks that deliver precise, timely feedback, and prompt student reflection to strengthen ownership of progress and next steps. By sharing successes and troubleshooting challenges, we’ll develop assessment strategies that elevate teaching practice and empower every learner to direct their own growth.
Optional SCECHs will be available for participants.
