In today’s media landscape, separating fact from misinformation is harder than ever—especially for students. This course helps educators teach students to critically evaluate media, recognize credible sources, and understand the impact of sharing unverified information. Together, we’ll work to break the cycle of misinformation and build smarter consumers and creators of media.

Important Information
Each free, 3-week course is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing you to move through approximately 10 hours of content at your own pace. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will engage in at least one live, synchronous interaction with your instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators and focus on immediate classroom application. Your instructor will email additional course information at least 24 hours before the course start date.
