How do we know when our instruction is engaging our students? How do we know if our instruction is promoting learning? The answers to these questions, among others, can be found through meaningful dialogue with our students. This course will focus on the importance of including student voice in the learning space. Together, we will look at ways to encourage student input and feedback to include them in designing instructional materials and activities, building community in the classroom, and assessing their learning in ways that work best for them.

Important Information

Each free, 3-week course is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing you to move through approximately 10 hours of content at your own pace. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will engage in at least one live, synchronous interaction with your instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators and focus on immediate classroom application.  Your instructor will email additional course information at least 24 hours before the course start date.

Note: New users must create an account in the registration system before registering.
