Educators are increasingly expected to use data to guide instruction while also navigating new AI tools responsibly. This course helps you confidently use AI-supported workflows while protecting student privacy and maintaining professional judgment. Throughout this course, you will build an AI Data Playbook — a practical resource you can use immediately in your classroom, PLC, or school setting. The course emphasizes educator expertise, professional judgment, and responsible innovation rather than technical mastery of any single AI tool.

Important Information
Each free, 3-week course is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing you to move through approximately 10 hours of content that is mostly asynchronous. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will engage in at least one live, synchronous interaction with your instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators and focus on immediate classroom application. Your instructor will email additional course information at least 24 hours before the course start date. Because interaction with others is expected, our courses are not considered self-paced.
Note: New users must create an account in the registration system before registering.
