Educational leaders will learn about freely available OER for use in curriculum, discover ways OER support differentiated instruction, understand how OER are vetted for quality, and explore how OER can support teaching, learning, and professional development. Participants will complete portions of a guidebook relevant to their individualized need or role. Open Educational Resources (OER) are free, openly licensed and high-quality, and allow users to retain, reuse, revise, remix, and redistribute them for educational purposes.

Important Information
Each free, 3-week course is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing you to move through approximately 10 hours of content that is mostly asynchronous. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will engage in at least one live, synchronous interaction with your instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators and focus on immediate classroom application. Your instructor will email additional course information at least 24 hours before the course start date. Because interaction with others is expected, our courses are not considered self-paced.
Note: New users must create an account in the registration system before registering.
