Ukeru is a trauma informed crisis management system designed to eliminate the use of physical restraints and seclusion. Based on a philosophy of "Comfort vs. Control," the Ukeru approach focuses on: - Building positive relationships.
- Prioritizing verbal and non-verbal de-escalation.
- Using specialized, padded equipment for safety during aggressive incidents.
