Curriculum Teams/committees incorporate a partnership between all 13 local school districts, Marquette-Alger RESA, and Northern Michigan University. Each committee is open to thirty K-12 teachers from across the two-county area. If you are interested in participating in this effort, please contact Marquette-Alger RESA.
Focus
Curriculum Review - Engage in curriculum mapping, review assessments and instructional practices, and identify key standards, gaps, and overlaps.
Curriculum Resources - Improve efficiencies through common language and shared forms. Improve Marquette-Alger RESA PD offerings accordingly.
Curriculum Evaluation Process - Create/improve LEA curriculum review processes by developing a standard model.
Meetings and Membership
The committees generally meet four or more times throughout the school year at Marquette-Alger RESA. Substitute teacher costs are eligible for reimbursement.
