Acadience K-6 Essential Workshop

    Acadience K-6 Essential Workshop
    Acadience Reading K–6 is a universal screening and progress monitoring assessment designed to support the early identification of students at risk for reading difficulties. This two-day initial training provides educators with a strong foundation in the purpose, structure, and administration of Acadience Reading measures across grades K–6.

    Participants will learn how Acadience fits within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and will receive training in the foundations, guidelines, administration, and scoring procedures for Acadience Reading K–6, as well as Acadience RAN. Emphasis will be placed on accurate, consistent assessment practices to ensure reliable results.
    Target Audience
    K-6 Teachers, Teacher assistants/aides/student teachers, Literacy Coaches, Administrators, Counselors, Special Education, General Education
    Learner Outcomes
    -Understand the purpose of Acadience within a balanced assessment system and MTSS framework
    -Identify the Acadience measures used in grades K–6 and the skills they assess
    -Administer Acadience assessments accurately and consistently
    -Score assessments correctly and apply standardized administration procedures
