Join us for a full-day of professional learning focused on supporting your district's English learners. The morning begins with networking followed by a presentation on Pennsylvania policies and regulations that govern EL education. Attendees will also learn about PDE LIEP program evaluation resources and engage in Q&A with PA Department of Education staff.
The second and third sessions focus on equitable and effective instruction of ELs, highlighting the use of AI and educational technology in the classroom and strategies to support ELs' development of literacy and academic language.
Sessions are designed for every educator, including general classroom teachers, ESL Specialists, Reading Specialists, Special Education teams, building principals, district leaders, and afterschool or summer education providers.
