Safe Crisis Management Recertification Training SKILL OUT

STAFF will receive a link to the theory portion of the training from JKM.  Please complete the training before the skill out date.

The safe management of an exploding young person may well be the most demanding professional challenge faced by teachers and staff. Success in these situations requires a set of knowledge and physical skill. This two-day training provides a practical, legal and most importantly, a professional response to a most difficult problem - student explosive behavior. This training is a student-safe intervention model that operates from the principle of the "least restrictive alternative." In this model, physical intervention is seen as a last resort choice. Emphasis is on verbal/non-verbal interventions.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing - tee shirts, sweatpants, and supportive footwear (i.e. sneakers).

    Target Audience
Staff who need safe crisis management rectification training
