Impact Through Inquiry @ Asbury Woods: a STEELS & Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience
Join us for a one of a kind professional development experience held outdoors on the scenic trails, forests, and wetlands of Asbury Woods. This hands on workshop helps K–12 educators design Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) that spark curiosity and empower students to investigate real environmental issues in their own communities. Spend the day learning in and from nature as you explore field tested strategies, collect and analyze environmental data, and plan authentic student action projects—all aligned to PA STEELS and Environmental Literacy & Sustainability standards. Leave with a ready to use MWEE plan, classroom friendly resources, and a refreshing, energizing day of learning in one of Erie County’s most inspiring outdoor classrooms..
    Target Audience
STEELS Classroom teachers, school administrators, and other informal education partners serving K-12 students in Pennsylvania
