26 PJP From Teaching to Learning: Transferring Cognitive Load from Teacher Delivery to Student Disco
|
|
Program focuses on
shifting instructional environments from teacher-led instruction to
student-led, active learning environments. It addresses classroom
questioning and discussion techniques, shifting cognitive lift from teachers
to students, and separating lesson planning from daily instructional
preparation. Key components include workflow shifts (such as learner-owned
progress reporting to parents), retrieval practice, and designing
high-rigor, high-expectation learning environments without elevating student
anxiety.
