    New Teacher Acadmey 2026-27

    This year-long cohort aims to empower 1st through 3rd year educators by fostering collaboration, analyzing teaching techniques, sharing common struggles, co-developing potential solutions, promoting well-being, and providing personalized support. Participants will gain practical strategies to improve their teaching skill set, build confidence, and establish a strong system of support through synchronous meet-ups, optional zoom topics, and 1:1 mini coaching sessions as requested.

    This is a 4 part series. Participants are asked to please register separately for each session they are available to attend.

    Learner Outcomes
    • Increase awareness regarding Char-Em ISD resources and support for teachers.
    • Establish a learning community of new local teachers across the ISD.
    • Increase teacher efficacy through the topics of Classroom Environment and Culture, Student Engagement and Feedback, and Collaboration and Communication.
    • Increase teacher tool kit with WOW (Walk Out With) strategies.


    Pending Approval, State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) will be offered for this training series. Further information will be provided by the presenter at each session.
