This training is designed with both novice and experienced gifted teachers in mind, as well as district administrators. There will be discussions around acronyms in the world of gifted education, GIEPs, what goals, short term learning objectives and specially designed instruction should look like. We will discuss how to calculate caseloads in gifted education, as well as ways to accelerate and enrich students that have been identified as gifted. We will review the laws and regulations under chapter 16, and what is required of districts.
This session is free to attend to all public school employees within ARIN's service area.
