Special Education Transition Collaborative

(This is a two day training.)

  

These training days will focus around topics relevant to assisting students with IEPs to help them transition into adulthood. They will also allow for networking and an EdCamp-style discussion with other teachers and career preparation specialists.

Teachers grades 6-12 and administrators from Char-Em ISD service area 

 

Learner Outcomes

Participants will

  • gain resources and knowledge about Community Mental Health, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, and Disability Network.
  • develop an understanding of best practice tools to effectively assist students in planning for their transition into adulthood.
  • network and brainstorm with other teachers and professionals.


State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs)

Pending approval, SCECHs will be available for this training. Information will be provided at the workshop.

 

 

Substitute Reimbursement

Reimbursement for a substitute will be provided for all teachers from districts within the Char-Em ISD service area who indicate yes for sub reimbursement during registration.
