Social Studies that Sticks: Implementing Inquiry with Integrity

(This is a three day series. Participants are asked to register separately for each session they are available to attend.)

As the push to practice inquiry - the act of asking questions, seeking the answers, creating, evaluating, and critiquing evidentiary support, and communicating conclusions - becomes ever more prevalent in Michigan's social studies classrooms, it is important that educational teams begin examining and implementing effective inquiry-based practices in their classrooms. This series will provide a road map and opportunities for collaboration and development of inquiry practices across Char-Em ISD.
