Open Education Resources (OER) for Quality Teaching and Learning

As schools are looking at virtual and blended learning classrooms, teachers need additional resources to quickly adapt. Fortunately, #GoOpen Michigan provides many quality free resources designed for use by Michigan educators.

During this multi-day virtual experience, explore and mine the rich resources that are available for quality instruction. Participate in improving the #GoOpen site by aligning resources to key Michigan content standards based on professional expertise. Participate in rich learning experiences, gain resources, and leave as champions of using OER in your school and with your students.

There are two cohorts to choose from - Cohort 1: July 14, 15, 16 and 17 and Cohort 2: August 3, 4, 5 and 6. You will meet virtually each morning between 9-11am to learn about OERs, standards alignment, and Creative Commons and GoOpen.  There will  be work time each day with facilitator office hours for assistance.

$200 stipend and 11 SCECHs for fully participating in the workshop and completing the standards alignment for the specified number of assets.

No Sessions available for registration.
