Know Any Good Books? Nurturing Reading Excitement and Reaching MS?HS ELA Standards

Do you get this question all of the time.  “Do you know any good books?” Sometimes I want to answer, “No, I only know bad books!”  Of course we know good books!

     In this workshop we are going to explore how we can answer this question and in so doing reach different levels and types of readers , while also helping to support Indiana’s English Standards.

Be one of the first 10 registrants and receive a free book!

· Investigate ways to reach and support middle school and high school English/ Language Arts Standards, both in the library setting and the classroom setting.

· Discover at least sixty (60) new titles for all types and levels of readers.

· Explore activities you can use with your students that will generate a love of reading including how to create book trailers.
