Strengthening PLC Leadership Skills

Research has definitively shown that collective teacher efficacy, or PLCs, is the number one influence on student learning in our profession.  This workshop is designed to help equip teacher leaders, the ones who are actually running the PLC meetings, to better navigate conversations and make the most of the team’s efforts.  We will explore strategies on how to respond to teammates who are unwilling to collaborate, resistant to change, or just need more guidance on what’s expected.

Workshop Agenda

·         Identify common group stumbling blocks in PLCs

·         Explore group dynamics work to better understand personalities and motivations

·         Address current concerns and trouble-shoot with ideas


Facilitated by Carrie Rosebrock

·         Former English Teacher and Central Office Administrator

·         Experience with PLCs, instructional leadership, curriculum and assessment development and teacher leadership
