STEELS through the Valley

Teachers are invited to join in a series of "field trip experiences" that will allow them to increase their understanding of the STEELS standards in the context of local educational and business partners. All participants are invited to bring children/grandchildren (preK-12) to the events so they can see the lessons in action.

Each session begins with a one hour webinar that explains the context of the STEELS lesson and what to expect during the 3-hour event. The webinar will occurs in the days prior to the field trip event at 9 AM and will be recorded.

On the day of the event, teachers/children will enjoy a tour at the location and then an engaging hand-on/minds-on STEELS lesson related to the partner site.

Participants should sign up for each event (Webinar and Field Trip) separately. Once registered, we will reach out for registration on number (if any) of students.

4 hours ACT 48 per session. Space is limited.
