ILEARN for ELA Instructional Practice

There are so many resources available from the IDOE regarding the content on iLearn, but what about our instruction?  How do we change our instruction to meet the demand placed on students with iLearn? In this workshop, we will explore the best practices in math instruction and lesson planning to create iLearn lessons to best prepare our students.


The Learning Intentions are:

  • Explore DOK and the 3 levels of learning: surface, deep and transfer learning.

  • Examine collaborative structures in the ELA classroom.

  • Delve into questioning strategies to promote problem solving and critical thinking in students so students can share their thinking on iLearn performance tasks.
