Learner Outcomes

Participants will obtain an understanding of the importance of science in literacy learning. They will explore the Science and Engineering Practices and what they look like in the classroom. Participants will dive into phenomena and the 5E model to best teach to the NGSS. Participants will learn how to apply each of these in their classroom to facilitate high level learning. Participants will walk away with tools they can immediately apply in their classrooms that support best practice teaching and learning.
