Decisions that Make a Difference in Guided Reading with Jan Richardson
We will explore decisions that matter during a small group lesson. Decision points include choosing appropriate texts, differentiating and transferring phonics skills, explicitly teaching comprehension strategies, and integrating guided writing. Learn how targeted guided reading lessons can accelerate all students.
Target Audience
Grade 1-4 teachers (also appropriate for teaching struggling readers in grade 5)
