6471 Michigan Model for Health: K-6
Come and Experience Michigan's evidence-based Michigan Model for Health curriculum. Participants will discover the importance of facilitating student skill development that will lead to meaningful behavior changes in the classroom and add value to school-wide PBIS efforts. Curriculum and materials are rich with opportunities to address Common Core State Standards in reading and writing. Content covers Social and Emotional Skills; Nutrition and Physical Activity; Safety; Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs; and Personal Health and Wellness. Each training participant will receive their grade level manual and materials.
