W6445 SEED-Seeking Educational Equity & Diversity- RESA Employees Cohorts 1 & 2
What Is SEED? Cohort 1 & 2 continues the conversation for those that attended 5920 and 5864.
SEED stands for Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity. It is a peer-led professional development program that creates conversational communities to drive personal, organizational and societal change that fully embraces diversity and strives for equity. Participants are invited to attend all sessions (or as many as possible).
SEED’s unique methodology involves:
•facilitating ongoing, structured, group conversations in which all voices can be heard
•examining how our own stories relate to social systems
•learning from the lessons of our own lives as well as from texts
•turning oppression and privilege into agency and action.
Target Audience
This workshop if for those who have attended either the 16-17 Cohort 1, or the 17-18 Cohort 2. Those who with to attend the S.E.E.D Training for the first time must sign-up for workshop # 6444.
