Participation is by invitation only, limited to REMC Association directors, staff and RITS.
This workshop, "Social Justice for Educators, Schools and Districts" will educate participants around social justice theories and concepts of social identities, intersectionality, the four levels of privilege, addressing microaggressions, and implicit bias. Justice League Collaborative (JLC) will be using small and large group discussions, structured exercises, reading, videos, reflective journaling, and homework to prepare for each session.
Participants must attend all sessions and complete the asynchronous homework to be eligible for 16 SCECH credits.
