The professional development focused on the Preschool Pyramid Model Framework strengthened educators' understanding of evidence-based practices that promote young children's social, emotional, and behavioral development. Participants explored the framework's tiered approach to supporting all children through nurturing relationships, high-quality supportive environments, targeted social-emotional instruction, and individualized interventions for children with persistent challenging behaviors. Throughout the training, educators examined strategies for building positive relationships with children and families, creating predictable and engaging classroom environments, teaching social-emotional skills intentionally, and using data to guide decision-making. Emphasis was placed on preventing challenging behaviors by embedding supportive practices into daily routines and fostering inclusive learning environments where every child can succeed. Participants engaged in reflective discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and practical application activities that connected the Pyramid Model to their classroom practices. The training also highlighted the importance of family partnerships, culturally responsive teaching, and ongoing collaboration among educators to ensure consistent implementation of the framework. As a result of this professional development, educators are better equipped to implement the Preschool Pyramid Model with fidelity, promote positive child outcomes, and create classrooms that support the social, emotional, and behavioral success of all preschool learners. Continued coaching, reflection, and implementation of Pyramid Model practices will help sustain these efforts and strengthen high-quality early childhood programming.
